T'is was a life size farewell guitar cake for one amazingly talented boy who is off on an adventure to Switzerland for his final high-school year. Majority of the treats on this moist chocolate cake were made by yours truly. From cakesicles to oreos encased in chocolate to mini candy bars, all intricately customized as per the theme - the Swiss flag (not to mention the custom ruby red of the chocolate). It was all scrumptious and every morsel was completely devoured!!!

A leopard cake for one very lucky eight year old. No rice krispies... just cake for the face as well. A friend mentioned that the leaves I happened to have on this leopard cake were reminiscent of the yage which for centuries has been brewed into ayahuasca and coincidently jaguars munch on these hallucinogenic jungle leaves; these beast just seem to melt, interesting to watch - lol! Anyhoo I digress - this one was a moist chocolate cake filled/surrounded by a ton of velvety smooth Swiss meringue buttercream and loads of sprinkles/candy. Again so grateful for the creative opportunity the client gave me for this one.

Client requested beach themed candy cupcakes and what's more representative of a beach than a beach ball, sand, and some sea creatures! Everything on these cupcakes was edible and yummy including the starfish which was made out of chocolate and the beach ball which was a sugar cookie iced in pretty hues of pink, yellow, and blue. The cupcakes itself were vanilla with a white chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream which was tinted in blue to represent water. Normally I don't use baking cups but I had these lying around and they certainly worked well with the colourful theme the client had requested for a seven year old girl. These cupcakes were an accompaniment to a three tier beach themed cake which is next in the line here and I personally thought it was stunning!!

An amazing beach themed cake for a seven year old girl. I just LOVED how this one turned out. It was definitely a labour of love. I spent many, many, many hours on this one what with all the individually iced sugar cookies to the carefully crafted buttercream ocean to the hand crafted chocolate seashells; not to mention the edible sand and strategically placed candy/cookies... To me this one certainly feels like summer love and the beach of course! The cake was vanilla with a velvety smooth white chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream.

Think this cake is self explanatory! T'was a decadent ganache filled chocolate cake with a caramel espresso Swiss meringue buttercream.

The prettiest baby shower cookies in da land!

This one definitely got my heart. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED how this one came together with the loving joyful harmonious colours. The client wanted a candy cake with some metallics and as usual the creative was left up to me. The inspiration arose from the beautiful summer hues of the lollipops. An absolute yummy vanilla cake with white chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and lots of candy/macaron embellishments.
